Muslim Marriage Event (17th of January 2009)

Birmingham Central Mosque’s marriage bureau is going to hold its 7th Muslim Marriage gathering on the evening of Saturday 17th Jan between 5.00 - 10.00pm (Evening).

It will be Inshallah an excellent opportunity to find your marriage partner. Candidates are requested to fill in the attached ‘Registration Form’ and bring along on the evening. You can come alone or with your family members. Ladies are particularly advised to wear modest dress and accompany their ‘Mehrams’ in respect of the Mosque.

what does it mean by parents will not be entertained ? can i come with some one other than my parents ?

Assalamu alaykum,
It says “Please note that, parents will not be entertained, unless accompanied by the candidates/children…” So you CAN come with your parents, inshallah.

I am from London and would like to participate in the marriage event. Unfortunately there would’nt be any trains back by the time the event finishes. So would I be able to spend the night in the masjid and return after fajr the next day. I have no special needs. Thank you

inshallah i wil be coming to ur 9th marriage event but i think ur fee’s are way to much,, £10 was reasnalbe but £20 is way tomuch, its making me think again about coming,any chance you can reconsider ur fee.and on everage how many people do you normally get ,
